Calvary Chapel San Clemente is partnering with Calvary Chapel Westside and Calvary Chapel Central Maui in their efforts to provide relief for Lahaina.

This is from jesusloveslahaina.com (an outreach of Calvary Chapel Westside).

“On August 8th 2023 a fire storm caused by a brush fire and hurricane force winds swept over the historic town of Lahaina. Many escaped with only the clothes on their backs, while countless others tragically lost their lives in this horrific disaster. The brokenness resulting from this tragedy in such a uniquely strong community is heartbreaking. Our prayer is that many will come to know the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through this awful tragedy. We know that God was not in the wind, He was not in the fire, but He is there in Lahaina healing the hearts of the broken with His still small voice”

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

1.
PRAY. Both Steve and Sean are asking for continued prayer. As Steve Santos said, “God’s Love, His Word, the Holy Spirit and the Prayers of the Saints have carried us through this thus far.”

2. GIVE.  If you would like to contribute to relief efforts, you can give at http://give.calvarysanclemente.org.  Select Lahaina Relief Fund.  All contributions will go to supporting the relief efforts through Calvary Chapel ministries.

3. GO. As soon as we have concrete information to share, we will let you know of opportunities to go and serve in the relief effort in Lahaina.
