WE ENCOURAGE SELF-DETERMINATION

We ask that all attendees voluntarily follow health and safety guidelines.  The CDC recommends masks for those who are unvaccinated.  However, because we cannot monitor who is and who is not vaccinated, we will leave the decision to wear a mask to the discretion of our congregants.  Please be mindful that some may not be comfortable handshaking, embracing, or touching anyone outside of their personal household. Some may choose to wear a mask for safety reasons.  Others may choose to not wear a mask.  Some may choose to watch online because they do not feel safe in a crowd of people.  Others are comfortable gathering for worship in person.  Be sensitive to one another during this time.  Everyone is in a different place and our job is not to judge and condemn someone because they are choosing a more or less cautious approach during this season.  Love defers to the needs of others.  Please wash your hands often.  Please cover your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing.  Please watch online if you are experiencing cold or flu like symptoms.  Please be respectful of one another.

OUR STANCE ON VACCINATIONS

We are not medical professionals.  Neither do we consider ourselves medically informed concerning vaccines.  Currently the FDA has approved the PFIZER vaccine for use.  Because we are not equipped to medically advise people, we believe it is up to each individual and their personal care doctor as to whether or not they will receive the COVID-19 vaccination.  We believe it is our role as the CHURCH to provide a place for all people who desire to gather together for worship whether they are vaccinated or not.  We also believe it is morally, ethically and Constitutionally wrong to deny the gathering together of a local congregation for the purpose of worship because of their vaccination status.  We are not anti-vaccination, we are simply not equipped to monitor or advise visitors and congregants regarding their vaccination status.  Therefore, we will not restrict people from attending worship services based on their vaccination status.  Because we value your safety, our ushers, greeters and pastors will encourage congregants to practice an abundance of caution by staying home if they are sick or showing symptoms of any kind.

COVID-19 WAVIER

Attending church to worship God is a right that is guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States.  As a Christian, I am commanded by scripture to gather corporately to worship the LORD with singing, spoken prayers and spoken Word. Attending Calvary Chapel San Clemente is a free choice and our services are open to whosoever wants to attend.  By attending, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. By attending any Calvary Chapel San Clemente worship service, Bible study or event, you and any dependents or guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold Calvary Chapel San Clemente, or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, or contractors liable for any illness or injury.  Our building is clean, safe and ready for you! Please help us stay healthy taking responsibility over your personal health.  This includes making the decision to stay home if you are feeling sick.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE. WE ARE COMMITTED TO YOUR SAFETY AND ARE EXPECTANT FOR ALL THAT GOD IS GOING TO DO!

This pandemic has proven to be ever-changing, so we need to remain flexible. We will continue to update you through our Newsletter, Church Website, Facebook, and Instagram.
